CHA Release: Quickutz Letterpress Kit

Hello readers, during this week; if you didn't know already CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) winter 2009 trade show is going on, where all the major craft and scrapbook companies release their new products. And apart from all the new lovely scrapbook papers that I will be spending my pennies on, I am REALLY excited about a new 'letterpress combination kit' by Quickutz, as part of the Lifestyle Craft brand.

I've never seen anything like this, and I can't wait to get my hands on one and have a go because I'm a huge letterpress fan!

Messy Jesse: Cupcake Needle Case

A fun little needle case I made today, using my new linen polka-dot fabric from Japan! I can't get enough of my Japanese fabrics :) such great quality. Hope you like it, I will share the tutorial with you on how I made it - just as soon as I get round to writing it up!

i ♥: Nadinoo

Hello, today I'm sharing the beautiful work of Nadia Izruna of Nadinoo. Nadia is from Germany and creates the most pretty handmade garments I have ever seen! I bought the 'sunshine bow' dress a little while ago and was amazed with the quality, she even hemmed it to my exact specifications! Nadia uses a selection of Liberty prints and bright cottons, and right now everything is on SALE! hurry, there's only small quantities of each item!

Messy Jesse: Save the Date Cards

Today I'm sharing some save the date cards I have made for my friends wedding next year; they wanted a blue/turquoise colour to fit with their wedding theme and a simple design. After a couple of drafts this is what we came up with :)

First Post!

Hello readers! Thanks for stopping by my new blog :)

Let me tell you a bit more about me...
My name is Jessie, hence my 'Messy Jesse' name, which started as a childhood nickname and has stuck ever since! (even though I'm super tidy!) I make handmade greetings cards which I sell through Etsy and Folksy (UK version of Etsy) and I live in beautiful Cornwall, right down in the far south-west of the U.K.

I have finished my BA Hons Degree this year studying Business and just found out I gained a 2.1 :) I've started this blog to showcase and hopefully inspire others, with some of the wonderful handmade and pretty goodies I have discovered since selling my Messy Jesse greetings cards online and share some other crafty projects I get up too! Feel free to leave any comments, I'd love to hear from you..

Look forward to seeing you again friends :)
