Dresden Kitchen Topper

Hi! Did you all have a good weekend? We had the painters over this weekend to paint our sash windows, I've been waiting for so long to have them done! I'm pleased to say our list of jobs to do around the house is slowly, (very slowly) being checked off ;) once we've got our front door all painted, I'll share some pic's on the blog.

Last week I finished up this dresden table centre for the dining room. I needed a quick project to use up my new stash of fabrics I got from Kerry's shop. I'm already making a quilt using alot of the prints, but I needed a quick quilty fix ha! I recently got an EZ Dresden acrylic template by Darlene Zimmerman, which turned out to be fab! I made a dresden last year from my own pattern, which was a bit of a headache... but this one came together nicely. Though next time, I would like less petals with a bigger scallop design.

I've got a couple of posts planned for this week, so check back soon! Jessie, xo
