Farmer's Wife Catch-Up

Hello all! I'm not quite sure what week number I'm on for the farmers wife quilt-a-long, but I thought it was high time for a show and tell of my latest blocks. This is the first time I've put them together and I can really see how it's coming together, eeeeeeehhh I just love them!! I really like the idea of having them on a checkered background too (that's my tablecloth, by the way!).
#51 Hovering Birds, #84 Spool
#69 Practical Orchard, #61 Northern Lights
#16 Calico Puzzle, #13 Buckwheat
I think these 6 might be my new favourites ... but don't I say that everytime?
I will be back in the week, I've been working on my dutch pinwheel quilt today so I have updates to share with you! yay! I had planned to be posting last week but came down with the most awful bug all week blueghhh! still lingering, but my sewing machine was calling... I hope you are all well? Working on anything fun? Jessie, xo

They do look super. Love the colours and like you think they look great on your tablecloth! I am currently making lots of hexies for a grandmothers garden quilt from all the scraps I have left over from making shoes and slippers. Loving the complete change.

Oh my goodness! Look at your progress. It's wonderful! I'm sorry you caught such an awful bug. Hopefully you'll be good as new shortly and back to all the things that make you smile.

I just found your blog today (via pinterest). I love your quilt squares!! I'm also working on the Farmer's Wife Quilt although with what I can tell, I'm really far behind everyone who started last year with the week things. I have 24 squares done so far.
Love your colors!!

I thought you were on holidays... Sorry for your problems with computer bugs... They are awful!
But your squares are so beautiful! I like a lot the numbers 69 and 61, lovely fabrics. I can't wait see all them together!

I started the FW quilt a year or so ago, got about six blocks done, and moved on to some other projects. Your blocks have inspired me to get back into it. Your color choices are exactly my taste. I have a question: Is it your plan to not repeat any fabrics in another block? Or are you not going to worry about it?
